Ack, thank you for writing me this pinch hit while under the throes of the flu. You hit all of the prompts exactly *g*. I was cringing at all the miscommunication happening here, poor Erestor - I can well imagine he wouldn't like even the mention of spices after this, yes.

But he has a lovely brother, the thought was very well intentioned, and Gildor will be a long friend after this, I imagine. Hopefully Cambréthil will make something tasty with his spices.

I'm happy you like this, and also Erestor's brother! I didn't plan on writing him here (he already exists in a long WIP I'm working at), but Erestor refused to come without him. ;o)

This was delightful! I wish it was longer--I'd love to see Cambrethil make a dish for Erestor and Gildor using those precious spices, (and of course a nice recipe to go with it, LOL!)

Thank you! I know the end was rather hurried - well, you know how this came about. ;o) I'm acutally re-writing this part as it left me unsatisfied how it is at the moment, and you know already that I had planned a recipe at the end. Perhaps that might happen as well, who knows. *g*
