It's just beautiful, and exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for! I love all the details about the food and the honey! And the requests Beorn made of his kin, to respect his animal friends were a wonderful compromise.

Bilbo was adorable. I love that he gave away some of his Dwarf gold, and did it secretly. (Although it would not surprise me if Gandalf weren't the only one who guessed. I'm sure Beorn himself would also figure it out!)

Thank you! Thank you! *happy sigh*

I can't make any guesses, so thank you again, dear friend.

this is a nice glimpse in on a reunification of a family too long apart, beorn needs and deserves his family around him i am glad to see them work out the rules and to get them together for the holidays so the young ones can enjoy such glorious fun....perfect. thank you for sharing.

Hurrah! I love fics that explore cultural tidbits like this! Bilbo's ending touches (and enlisting the help of the doves) were lovely; so was the compromise for eating meat.

And getting to have bacon again--what a lovely Yule gift for Bilbo, one that I'm sure he appreciated! ^_^
