Indeed a wonderful look at Goldberry's origins and her perhaps family. And interesting they, too, find living in the air intriguing and attractive in the end.

Thanks Larner! It all started with the Little Mermaid, didn't it? Then there were the three Rhinemaidens, which put the idea into my head, toss in the Lorelei and I had my story. And it was kinda fun shutting Tom Bombadil up completely, if only for a few moments;);)

This is utterly delightful! I love the idea of Goldberry having sisters, and of the Bombadils increasing their family!

Bombadil's song was perfect!

And I adore the phrase "making amorosities"! I don't know if it's a real word but if it isn't it ought to be!

Thanks Dreamflower! Yes, I figured it was high time the Bombadils had a little one...well in my long story "Journey out of Darkness" it's mentioned that they have a child, but we never actually get to see him. I decided that might be a nice detail to focus on, and yes, every rivermaiden should have at least two sisters!

Glad you like the song...it was a piece of work coming up with one that was in character and yet not too sappy. As for "amorosities", well, if it wasn't a word before, it is now! Thanks again for commenting dreamflower!:):)
