What a marvelous tradition! You've made me so hungry. I want to fill my pantries with hobbity treats and have myself a feast.

It's lovely that Posy was rewarded for her good deed. I enjoyed every bit of this story.

*grin* Thank you, sweetie! I enjoyed writing it-- as soon as I saw that title, the bunny latched onto my ankle! After that, it was just a matter of following our three cousins through the day!

I was surprised by Posy. She just came right up out of nowhere, and spoke her piece, and then retreated! I love it when OCs do that!

I made myself hungry a time or two!

Very nice slice of hobbit life. Made me hungry in places!:D Was hoping Clovis and Cado would get more come-uppance, but oh well. Looks like a good time was had by all!:D

I had loads of fun writing it!

Well, of course, my Bankses never do get into much trouble until "The Dare", which is a few years down the road. And they don't face any serious consequences until "A New Reckoning", which is several more years later. They get away with a lot in the meantime. But they are going to have a rather miserable visit at the Smials this time, what with Frodo, Merry and all three of Pippin's sisters just *waiting* for them to put a toe out of line!

Thanks! I love to write pre-Quest friendship fic! And I am glad you find the tradition hobbity. I am sure that in the Shire there were lots of food-oriented festivals!

I love this tradition, but what a lot of work and expense for the families of Tuckborough. Still, a delightful story in all respects.

Yes, I'm sure it is a lot of work and expense! But like most holidays, people think that it's worth in the end.

Glad you liked it.
