This is just beautiful! I don't believe I've ever read a story about Ivorwen seeing her grandson as an adult, and you have truly captured the ambivalence she must have been feeling!

Thank you so much! I would never have thought of the idea had Shirebound not suggested it. It was a challenge to wrte Ivorwen, but I enjoyed it and was glad I managed to write a story after my dismal failure last month!

For a moment it seemed to Ivorwen that the boy had a shining gem upon his brow. His touch was warm and seemed to surge through every fibre of her being.

What a lovely description of this moment. Such a joyous and hope-filled reunion!

Quite the interesting scenario--I had never though about Aragorn's meeting his grandparents before. You wrote Ivorwen's character well, I thought, and the reunion itself was very sweet.
