Oh mercy! LOLOLOL! Well, Lobelia certainly got what she deserved in THIS one. And Frodo so innocent...

(BTW: Would you edit, please, to put the title and your name in the subject line?)

It was fun to do a gapfiller for "Second Mum." So glad you enjoyed it, and I have the editing done. Joy to you, Barbara!

This was a bit of a gapfiller for my longer work "Second Mum" in which we see this encounter from Esmeralda's point of view. It was delightful to flesh out the encounter from our beloved Lobelia's POV this time. And I bet that the bodice of her new outfit was quite the sight to see! Glad to give you enjoyment!

Dear innocent Frodo. I appreciate Bilbo standing his ground against Lobelia, but this would be just one more ember that keeps her dislike for Bilbo and Frodo smoldering.

Oh, yes--one more reason to resent not only Bilbo but his beloved little kinsman as well, a resentment that we know lasted most of Frodo's life in the Shire.

I couldn't help but shake my head and laugh at Frodo's antics while congratulating Bilbo on throwing her out!

I enjoy seeing Lobelia getting her comeuppance now and then, I find. And I'm certain that Lobelia came into numerous instances of being ejected from Bilbo's presence! Loved finding a way of involving Frodo as a faunt.

Thanks so, Someplace!

How very sweet, and what a good use of your element. I really loved this look into the life of a very young Frodo and a terminally annoying Lobelia S-B.

I described the outcome of this encounter from Esmeralda's POV in Second Mum, and it was delightful to flesh it out this time. Lobelia caught in her own plots is always fun to write. As for Frodo--even now he's a delightful one, isn't he, in spite of ink on the floor?
