"Where the Moon Walks"

Chill moonshine creeps over stony mount,
limning the rough earth in silver-blue,
alighting upon the thrush’s agèd back,
rippling over the decay of once-green plant.

Grim moonshine treads upon the bent heads
of unlucky thirteen and one more,
a severe company bent on dragon’s wealth.

Bleak moonshine walks forsaken hills,
trekking across the grey stone,
moving across this, the Lonely Mountain.
