hey... i'm not sure how to put this really. i was worried about annabel too, so i did some digging and messaged a few of her rl friends through last.fm and myspace. this is what i got back from one of them:

Hey,
I'm really sorry to inform you of this through this, but Annabel tragically passed away on the 20th of January. There was an accident while she was rock climbing on that Sunday afternoon. A freak accident really. So unfair.

I attended her memorial this Monday, and I know everyone who knew her are still in mourning and will miss her dearly.

She was one of my good friends, and I will always remember her.
I'm so sorry to tell you like this.

a couple of her other friends said the same thing. i haven't actually seen an obit, but annabel's myspace is here. it seems pretty legit. i sincerely wish it were otherwise. she's the most vivid person i've ever met.
