Last night I wrote a poem for the first time in forever. Haven't really felt like writing, but the first thunderstorm of the season always gets me a bit. I'll make a life-update post soon, but it's a little hectic now. Just wanted to get this up

Love the line, I am the hush after the boom. I hope all is well.

Thanks! Things go well, just busy. I'm moving flats for next school year, and on tuesday I leave for my dairy work placement. Three weeks on a dairy farm in Northern England is going to be eye opening and hopefully fun, but it means things are a bit chaotic getting ready

A dairy farm! how fabulous!! Are you interested in dairy in particular, or just large animals generally?

The funny thing is I'm not interested in large animals at all! Two weeks on a dairy farm is a requirement of all British schools to be licensed. I'll explain the requirements on the update post, but we have a certain amount of work experience we have to do, and most of it is farm animal. I just finished a week at a lab animal unit and it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. But a dairy farm promises calves and I'm a sucker for baby animals of all sorts!
