Today I ordered Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from Amazon

And then again from Amazon.co.uk

I re-read HBP a couple weeks ago, it makes me really sad too :( I read most of OotP in the week or so before the movie came out, but I did just read it in January so it's still fresh in my mind. I haven't really been paying attention to the rumors and "leaks," I say don't believe them...I don't think she would kill Harry. Although honestly, I think that I would rather have both Ron and Hermione live and Harry die than have Harry live and either Ron or Hermione die....I really like Ron and Hermione together and I want them to get married and have lots of babies!

So why did you order 2? Is there a difference between the US and UK versions? I'm totally not into the fandom so I am out of the loop on all of the stuff like that. :P Although I did recently finish HBP and cried when Dumbledore met his fate.

Well one is mainly for my sister and one is mainly for me. Usually we share one copy, but I wanted my own for the last book and I just had to have it from England! The spellings and the cover are different, but not much else, haha.

Hee hee, I love your geekiness that you would need both editions! I won't be home when mine comes, and I am so mad about it! I'll have to stay away from all media for at least 5 days, so as not to ruin the ending for myself.

ugh paris...so jealous lol.

actually in the UK they have two versions, adult and children's. so the one you got is the children's...the adult one for book 7 doesn't have a pic of harry on the front, it has a pic of slitherin's locket :) that's the one i'm getting. but it's the same text inside. I hope you had an amazing time in Europe!
