The road that took us past that overlook was Chuckanut Drive. We were looking out at the San Juan Islands, with Vancouver Island beyond that. We were actually well north of Puget Sound at that point, overlooking the southern end of the Strait of Georgia.

Thanks! I kept wanting to call it Pilchuck, but I couldn't remember if that was the name of the overlook, the hiking trail, or the planet Teal'c was from *smirk*

Mount Pilchuck is much closer to Seattle. It's the one I keep on talking about hiking on, although I haven't yet made it all the way to the top.

Also, I think a pil'chuck is a primitive Jaffa weapon, a version of the timeless Pointy Rock.
