Thank you for making this. I'm pretty new to this fandom, and not being a lurker in general.

For someone shy like me who takes one look and goes "I have no idea where I am supposed to start..." this is the digital equivalent of a lifeboat >.<

I don't know if you'll find it useful, but way back in October 2010 I put together a primer post for the first series. It's here on LJ, and mirrored here on DW (although there may be issues with some of the screencaps displaying properly/at all). Part of that post is a reclist I started putting together way back when, but it's sadly out of date (only up to November 2010) so its relevance now is debatable.

Anyway! That's there if you want to check it out.

Maybe you could find room it in for the other character comms?

There's dilestrade home of the Wounded Lestrade List as well as discussion about Lestrade and Scotland Yard. Many Lestrade-centric fics find their way there.

The Mycroft equivalent is brother_mine, plenty of fic there too, and some discussion.

sherlestrade is specifically for Sherlock/Lestrade fics.

(Yes I am rather Lestrade-centric....)

Thanks for the links to the other character comms - I originally compiled this for a friend I dragged into the fandom who wanted a preponderance of S/J. When I do the third edition I'll definitely add a section for comms etc. centric to the other characters. :)
