I really adore this AU. The tension between them is so tangible and perfect whilst remaining completely in character despite the huge change in the setting. I really, really hope there will be more in this verse, I'm a big fan of well executed AUs anyway, but this is definitely one of my favourites.

love that you are back doing this verse. love that this bit was a prequel.love the detail. of every damn element. from setting. to set up. to attire. to characterization. because that dialogue. sweet jesus. the dialogue. teasing. direct. and some of the most seductive i have read. ever. was divine.

I love this AU so very much. As a history student for many years this is a subject close to my heart. I loved the use of the song; I learnt it for my grade 5 singing exam and was singing it all the way through reading this. I always thought it fit their relationship so beautifully. Well done and I hope there's more to come, as I don't think I will ever get enough of this AU.
