I love this, I love all of this so much, you don't even know. The writing style is so wonderfully Whovian and whimsical in a way I can't describe. The way you've integrated this into the DW universe so seamlessly - "bleeding heart Doctor", ahaha, Sherlock, you superior bastard! All the little details, and the adorable dialogue, and... just everything, everything about this is amazing. You are amazing.

(So are the previous incarnations of The Detective, you know, the previous incarnations of SH? Granada!Holmes, 2009!Holmes, etc...)

Sherlock is a ridiculously superior bastard, but that's why we love him! Having the previous SH incarnations as 1st, 2nd, 3rd Detective etc. is GENIUS, if I continue this and there's a way to work it in, may I use your idea? Obviously you will be credited, but that's just such a brilliant idea, haha! If I was better at graphics I'd be so tempted to create something based on this.

I have a few ideas that are begging me to write them (Mycroft on the High Council of Time Lords being one, haha), so a continuation may well happen!

This is FANTASTIC! I'm usually more a fan of John being the Time Lord, but you absolutely made this work. I think this is the best Doctor Who fusion I've ever read, it's simply marvelous. I don't have enough words, enough superlatives to describe how much I adore this fic. Just, bravo. Absolutely fantastic, brilliant, amazing!

Probably the best and most complete one I've read is Mislaid Memories by mr_x_indeed. Parts One, Two, Three and Four.

There's also two minifills here and here where John is a fob!watched Doctor and Sherlock is the Master.

There are also a couple of in-progress stories where John is fob!watched. Something Remembered by jade_starlight deals with John remembering the Pandorica, and Are You Now or Have You Ever Been by stardustgrl is John fob!watched and Harry as his companion.

I feel like there may have been one or two others that I'm missing one or two. For some reason, I thought there were more than there seem to be. There are a number of good Doctor Who/Sherlock crossovers, but these are specifically John as a Time Lord (and/or the Doctor). Enjoy. :)
