SO-EX-CIT-ED. I love this harder Posner. It bugs me when people write him weak.

Oooh, thank you! I wanted Posner to be a bit badass in a camp sort of way - I always thought that university would give him a bit more of a backbone once he realised that being Jewish and gay and coming from Sheffield does not a personality make! Thanks again for your feedback, very much appreciated!

Yaaay! I'm so glad you liked this bit. :) I always thought that Posner would be more confident after leaving university but still inherently him and I'm so glad that came across here. I mean, he's still falling all over himself at the prospect of drinks with Dakin (see what I did there? Arf arf), but he knows himself better now that he's grown up a bit.

That's the next part in the story! :)

Haha, I always thought Akhtar and Scripps would be good friends! I have ideas for Lockwood and Akhtar, 'The Big Man' in part one was Hector, obviously, and I'd really like to do a bit more of Dakin and Irwin, so I'm sure I'll have something for you soon. :D

Thanks for commenting love!

I AM RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED AS WELL.

Posner is AMAZING. I agree with one of the other commenters- I really hate it when people write him as weak. "Don't you think you can intimidate me," Posner says, and I laughed. Posner is quite formidable! I can't wait for him to meet Scripps and be amazing at him.
Are the other teachers going to be in this too? :) Tottie and the lot?

Hahaha, thank you so much for commenting! I'm pretty excited about the next part too, I started writing it as soon as this was posted.

I wanted Posner to still be him, which he is, for all his swooning over Dakin, but more sure of himself after university. I'm so glad you like him like this!

I have ideas for some of the other boys and I'm going to include as many people as I can!

Really pleased that you enjoyed this. :)

I think you bring up an interesting point. I think the Posner is definitely more confident but also perhaps less sheltered by his friends than the Posner we know from History Boys. It seems he's had to toughed up all by himself, which would make sense with none of the students having prior contact in your story (at least, that's what I'm assuming up to this point. Later chapters might change my theory)

H'OMG. I had this open in a tab for ages now and am finally getting around to comment.

I absolutely love this sort of backtracking to set the stage type narrative you have going on here.

I just can't gush enough about this! Excited for more, as always!
