That's really sweet, another of those Lost 'chance' encounters that really should be part of canon. That last line is perfect.

Thank you so much! I'd love it in canon too.

Charlie is SO Puck. I did 'Midsummer Night's Dream' in High School drama and really enjoyed it and you drew some great comparisons here with the love juice. Gotta love literary allusion! And OT3ness as well! Goodness me...

Loved it. Loved loved loved it.

Hehe! You still love your literary refs then, sapphie? Charlie/Dom is so very puckish. He can anoint me with love juice any day.

Sure do! As painful as English Lit was I did learn a lot from it =P to my great surprise and bemusement. And chagrin.

He can anoint me with love juice any day.

Best road trip EVER. I'd definitely second a motion to attend ;) the idea was brilliant and so well executed! I loved the prose, especially the last couple of lines when Des and Penny got together, and Charlie's attitude was so perfect here. I also loved how you wrote Desmond, it feels very true to his just-out-of-the-abbey canon and the way Penny was so straightforward. This was some really great fic, I loved it!

Thanks Janie! I certainly wouldn't mind being Penny in this fic - a picnic, a joint, a sexy monk, a puckish musician, the Beatles and the Scottish countryside. It sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Oh yes.

Sometimes it is fun to indulge in sensual angst-free dreams!

I love this! Charlie's whole part in the story was really fantastic and I really like how you write Penny, she really seems so in character. Really perfect and lovely.

Thanks! Charlie and Penny are my two big favourites so it's great that you liked their roles here.
