I've finally updated my beer database for the first time since mid-August. In August I had 20 beers, 17 of which were new. This count is a little pathetic considering D.C. Beer Week occurred that month. I only participated in one event - a beer and food pairing with Brooklyn Brewing Co and craft cheeses from San Francisco-based Cow Girl Creamery.

I love Dogfish Head's Chicory Stout!

It's too bad that you couldn't make it up for the NYC Beer Week. I probably tried a dozen or more new beers in the several outings I made. Let me know if you make it up this way before the year's up and I'll see if I can help you find some new ones.

How many does that bring you to for the year thus far? At the moment, I'm on 208 and definitely won't make it to 365 for the year without risking liver damage. Still, there have been some very nice discoveries along the way, and only one beer that I couldn't actually finish. I'll get around to posting an updated list at some point.
