Item 1: How irritating is it to watch a car chase on the news? Answer: A LOT. You are watching it, but the newscaster just keeps repeating what's going on like you can't see it for yourself. i hate the way newscasters constantly comment or point out really obvious things. like this is live television, i can see thanks very much. this is why i don't watch much news or televised sporting events.

Oh, ditto on sporting events. The sound of John Madden's voice alone makes me suicidal.

Heck, until I finally hunkered down recently and reread all my HPs, I just could not name all six of them. I always would forget one of them.
