Hamlet (getting very, very excited)

It's an embarrassment of riches, isn't it? Or, a kind of torture. So much DT coming up in the next week, and so little time to watch. Because I've got three little boys, my tv watching time will be a bit limited, so I've been trying to decide which to watch first: the Christmas special or Hamlet.

It's fantasy-modern, I suspect, if it's anything like the stage production ( altariel had some fascinating things to say about what the Stratford staging reminded her of after we saw it, here...

I know what you mean - I too have little boys (two, rather than three), and the ubiquitous Mr Tennant is a bit of a challenge to keep up with this week! (on the other hand, I have had the perfect excuse to curl up at 6.50 every evening and watch him read the Bedtime Story on CBeebies - awwww....)

Basically, we're taping everything and then watching it later. Frex, I have a Whosessive friend coming over for Christmas day and we plan to tape DW (my boys are still a bit little for it, certainly I think for the final Specials) and then watch it for Proper Grownup Entertainment when they're in bed. And I suspect Hamlet will go the same way.

Happy (and uninterrupted) watching, whenever you do it!
