Potter-related radio silence

Dear F-list,

In less than 12 hours I will be holding my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in my hands, OMG!

Those of you who know me well will understand that I will not want to be spoiled (and will be far too busy reading anyway to do anything else), so I will probably not be around until I finish the book.

Where are you getting the book? Are you going to one of the midnight parties? I have a copy on lay-by at a local bookstore, and they open at 9.30! You'd think that on a special day like this they could open a little earlier. Geesh.

Yeah, I got it at the American Book Center in Amsterdam. They had a HP party and a countdown to 1 o'clock. Then we all got our books.

ABC is great. I went to their OotP and HBP parties as well, back in the day.
