These are gorgeous, sweetie. I only ever visited New Orleans once, and it was over 20 years ago, but these icons bring back such *vivid* memories--you chose such evocative pictures.

It's not your fault. EVERYTHING NOLA related makes me homesick lately. Especially the damned snow we keep getting here! LOL
But yeah, we're going for the week before Mardi Gras - our friends live right on the route for Cleopatra and always throw a huge party that night, so we go for that. I can't WAIT! Still gotta get tix - but should hopefully have enough $ next week to do that.
I love, love, loved this set of icons. I have never loved a set of icons as much as I loved this one. the sense of nostalgia, the beauty of each one of them made me want to have all of them to look at forever and post on my wall so I could dream about going to those places.
