Ooh, fun! Young Wesley is adorable, and my heart just breaks for him. Can I kick his father? (And of course Giles is the reprobate good young Watchers-to-be have to stay away from. *g*)

So delicious. Young Wesley is so sweet and adorable. So cute, his heart probably making the flip-flops that he is feeling in his gut ?and lower?. Pity his father and the arse-like Council training making him such a poor mockery of what he inately is by the time he goes to Sunnydale and only revealing the layers as they are pealed(sliced as well) in LA.

There is nothing in Canon that might dispute this encounter in my opinion, so that's where this goes in my classification, and not strictly AU.
Although, these few months of reading, I really much prefer AU than Canon because ... [too many reasons to list] ...
