I just had one of the worst dreams I've ever had in my life. For the first time in I don't know how long, I had a dream that I remember that wasn't completely off the wall weird, but this time it was absolutely horrifying. I'd much rather have my weird dreams that make others think I do drugs than ones that scare the crap out of me.

In my dream, I was driving somewhere late in the evening and I randomly pulled over at an elderly couple's house and then walked inside and killed the two of them with a coat hanger. Then, I was arrested and went to trial. The jury decided that I was not guilty be reason of mental defect, but the judge called all the jurors idiots and said that I was clearly guilty of murdering the elderly couple and I did it with malice and that I should be sentenced to the harshest penalty possible. The jury pleaded with him that the evidence said I was out of my mind at the time, but he had no part of it.

Then, I was finally out of prison and I couldn't get a job because I was a convicted felon and I couldn't travel for the same reason. My being a convicted felon ruined my life and I decided to take the easy way out. I picked up a gun to kill myself and then I woke up.

It was a really bad dream. I'm about to have to go to work, too. But, I'm just meeting with the other management. I'll hopefully be home in a couple hours.

I was wondering if Don't Go Where I Can't Follow was any good. The nice thing about Nelson is that he takes chances. The bad thing about chances is that they don't always work. When I heard about the book, I thought, "I really can't handle reading that right now."

Cat, have you read Nelson's Big Questions? It's one of the best things I've ever read. It's about a lot of the stuff you write about.

And Cat, since you like the crooners, do you know the album John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman?
