Kit-Kat's right, it is pretty, and also leaves me wanting to knock sense into Vincent and D's heads. Especially D's, for being a nosy little thing.

For some reason, the "Vinny!" part made me cackle. I kept picturing some weird Mafia/surgeon hybrid.

The idea of Vincent as a mafia!Surgeon is mildly terrifying, actually.

And I am glad you like it! And of course D is nosy. Now I'm trying to figure out the next chapter.

Wow, I would have hung up on Vincent's dad well before he did. Count D wasn't exactly much of a comfort, either. Heck, pretty much everyone in this chapter did a little bit to make things just that much more irritating. I really feel for Vincent. Poor guy needs a break. :3

The story's going great, and I'm still very much interested in the next installment. You've been posting fairly frequently, too. I should use your example and kick myself into action. >.>
