A Quick Review

So, I went and saw Clerks 2 tonight. Now I'll admit I had HUGE reservations when I heard Kevin Smith was making Clerks 2. I am a very big Kevin Smith fan, I've followed his films since high school, and I find myself able to realate to the characters and conversations he creates. totally agree, both in terms of how i felt before and after the movie.

one other thing: ass-to-mouth, in the heat of the moment, is occaisionally acceptable.

I do enjoy me some Dogma. I think in many ways, that Kevin Smith had the most to say with that film. I also thought it was important because it marked Smith's transition from Indy to Mainstream director.

BTW Heath Ledger as the Joker, Discuss. :)

I KNOW!!! Is it confirmed yet? If so my mind is boggled. Christian Bale will always be Jack Kelly to me, but I could see where the choice came from. Heath Ledger . . . well he was decently dark and cruel at times in Ned Kelly. And he can smile . . . gah!

Just saw Clerks II, alone, since nobody else seemed to have seen Clerks 1 and had a free afternoon.

I loved all the jokes at the very end when they switched into B&W, especially the sign next to the ice cream.
