Haha I finally went and saw Order of the Phoenix again last night with my friend and her brother.* (I'm not putting this behind a cut) Still not OMG THE BEST!!! but it was definitely a lot better this time. I squeed a LOT more at the Remus/Sirius hints. And Umbridge was still FREAKING PERFECT. I don't think I had a favorite scene last time, but

Ok, Why don't they show Narcissa's portrait when they're in the family tree room?

Probably because they haven't cast Narcissa yet, and they'd have to pay to use her likeness in a movie she doesn't appear in. Still, the Black Family Tree could have used some clarification...

You've got a good point there about the casting. The one that was bugging me though, was not having Regulus on there!!! I mean, that's pretty freakin' important! But, I'm sure he hasn't been cast either, assuming they ever DO bother showing him at all in the movies. (I'm suspecting a plot change to make it someone else again maybe.) The thing I wonder is, if that was a bother, why be doing portraits at all? Sure, it looked neat, but they could have just had names like it was supposed to be anyway. =P

Man, the slicing and dicing of the prophecy is what upset me most. As I recall, there is no mention of Neville. Which would make his own Badassery in the last book less important when the movie comes out. Sad.

Haha, I actually squeed twice while watching OotP the first time. First, when you first see Sirius, and then you notice Remus is sitting next to him all leaning in and eeeeee! My friend and I just kind of flailed around and freaked out silently. The second time I flailed was right before what I thought was going to be the Snape's Worst Memory scene. Of course, the excitement went away because it was so shooort and laaame, but whatever. Anyway. YEAH! Flailing! Squeeing! Remus and Sirius!

Speaking of... all of that, did you ever read shoebox_project?

I watched GoF yesterday and was excited about HP until I saw Fred and then I was sad again.

Yeah! About the family tree. That's weird. They cut out the most random things.

omg I know! Sirius totally had his arm around Remus ♥ I think the only time I audibly squeed the first time I saw it was the first time Percy came on walking behind Fudge! lol yeah. I really like him for some reason.
