I pretty much agree with what you've said -- I have mixed feelings on the episode... and I definitely liked the first 2-3 seasons the best, not that I don't like it now, but it did get awfully big and so much more than just Sam, Dean, and the Impala. Though, I love Cas - I also liked Cas as a human and sort of hoped he'd stay that way. Angel mojo, good, but I don't know.
Apparently I missed all happenings related to Dean's amulet, because I don't know what's going on there.
I admit to not liking Cas at first, but I can't remember why. I can't imagine a world without him now D:
Idk, I thought there was some big deal about it and there was a lot of speculation as to why he was still wearing it and they seemed to focus in on the fact that Sam's the one who gave it to him (instead of giving it to John). Then Cas came and took it to ~find God~ or whatever and I guess I was just expecting something a little more exciting to happen with it?
