Season 2 DVDs broken!

Either I have the worst luck in the world, or ABC really needs to work on their quality control. For the second year in a row I have excitedly bought my Lost season DVDs, only to get them home and find that they don't work. Some of the discs don't load at all, and some digitize and cut out in the middle of an episode or the menus freeze ( Read more... )

I had that same problem with my Jem dvds...it turned out not to be the dvds but the dvd player was going to die ( which it did) so it might mean you need to invest in a new one. Go back to the store and tell them what is going on with your dvds and see what they might say though.

Nope, Panasonic. But we don't have this problem with *anything* but the Lost DVDs.

May I ask what name brand of DVD player you have and model number if you know it?

That way it would help in determining if its the player or a bad shipment of DVD's.

We have a Panasonic, but we've never had this problem with any other DVD, and we have a lot.

I haven't bought season 2 yet but I will say I haven't had any problems with my season one DVDs but my player is about to hit the bucket. I've had it since DVD players came into play. It does the same thing to my other DVDs like really old ones.

It could be your player.
