You CAN play with people who aren't fans, but it wouldn't be as fun I'd imagine because there are "fate" cards, and you have to fight things like polar bears, the monster, and with someone who has no clue what's going on I doubt they'd be able to appreciate it as much!

Actually, the only listing (right now) for that game is Not the Game. It's actually some sort of puzzle. I looked at the sellers comments. :(

could you explain the rules/aims etc? i dont really get the manual

The goal is to gain control of all of the players in the game. Depending on how many blocks you use, not all of the characters may be in play. There are a ton of rules, so for me to explain each and every angle of the game would be far more complicated than you telling me exactly what confuses you.

Hmm. Well, season two characters are involved as well. You have to battle things like polar bears, the monster, and the others. You have these things called "fate cards" which give you tasks to do on the back of them, a lot of the game is based on chance, and some is based on reasoning. It's like, a mixture of Clue, Monopoly and Sorry! :D
