I'm sorry, but Sergeant Kennedy isn't in this one much. :-p

I'm not joking; I don't think he's even turned up in passing yet. He will be in it, though, because there's an exchange at the end, but I don't want you to get your hopes up. :lol:

I'll just go and write him into the next scene, I think. He can't turn up at the end just to annoy the Captain - that's not a very good story structure.

No, I was needing someone to tell the news to the new Colonel, so now he's turned up. But he still isn't in Ch1. ;-)

Ooh, intriguing! What is Tilly keeping secret? And I always love me a gem of dialogue like this:

“You know,” said Nat, “this whole thing is getting frustrating - and worryingly undramatic.”

Evered paused for a moment. “I could shoot someone if it would make you happier?”

Aw, thanks! I'm a bit worried this one will bore everyone to death, because it is a little undramatic in places, but it's meant to be. Hmm.

Heh, next chapter won't be long - it is written, anyway. I still need to corrrect the last bit of the AU and get that done and dusted, too.

Seriously, I am thrilled to bits when anyone reads my fic, but that is never anything to worry about. Life is slightly more important, among other things! :lol: Mind you, I am also so behind on reading othre people's fic, as well.
