I finally got my who_like_giants ficathon entry done - just in time! persiflage_1 rescued me with a beta when I was at the point of doubting it even made sense, and at last it is posted:

I don't know why you were flailing about the fic - it was quite a lot more than adequate!

Heh. Oh, that, oh well... :lol: I'll mend it. It was a long evening yesterday!

Well, you see, it was meant to be a general fic like this, originally, then it was going to a Happy Endings, then I flailed, because it would have to be a serious one. And then I resurrected for this and had to remove the shippiness. And then wondered if the poor thing had any story left. And I still couldn't get away by just doing jokey dialogue because of the death and torture and stuff. It was a bit like my flailing when I wrote 'Robophobia', except then I at least knew I'd written the fic I wanted to write. Or possibly just because I'm strange. ;-D

Oh, yes, but the next chapter of that only needs correcting & it's ready to post. It was C&D that was trying to steal my brain over the weekend.
