Oh, good! I mean, obviously, you need to do what suits you best, but I do think backing up is prudent. (And this way round, shaky as it is, LJ acts as a back-up in reverse via cross-posting.) Good luck with changing your name! I think it's the same as LJ and you have to pay, but I don't know. Dimity Blue is very pretty.

Me, I always read LJ first, others I guess do the opposite...

I used to cross-post, but still read everything LJ side, with a tendency to forget to look at my Dreamwidth-side, so I'm now going to reverse that process. But I will still be looking at the people who aren't over there - for the moment, at least!
