I can't remember how many times we've been assigned to each other, but I think we went a whole year without, so it was about time. And since I didn't get assigned to you I sort of expected you'd get assigned to me because it was probably more unlikely we'd miss each other entirely!
I don't know why it wasn't more popular because it was good. Although now I sort of want the version where Avon goes down :)
I suspect it's actually less than I think, because we've also treated for each other, too. I think I may only have got you once before, that Yuletide I wrote you HoE, so it was only fair really! And always much more relaxing when you know the recipient - with you in particular I know that while our tastes aren't identical, they do overlap a lot
( ... )
I only remember getting you once before, and that was in Remix, where you're not actually writing for someone else. But writing for someone you know is so much easier.
I either write for small fandoms or the things no one is interested in in big fandoms (ie gen) so I don't know what it's like to get masses of comments. I don't know how I'd deal with that happening and having to reply to them all!
I feel like I can't write B7 any more because I've written 7 fics :)
You definitely also got me in the first ShipSwap - you went to all the trouble of leaving fake comments on the fic to try and disguise yourself! I think, as I said, it feels like more, because you also wrote quite a few Yule-treats for me. But definitely at least twice each now, anyway. :-)
I've written some things that count as 'masses' for me (like 10 or 15, even, and some of that have slowly racked up more over time) so I would say the same, except my Miss Marple fic for this Yuletide got recced by an author who has an LJ and now I've got 30+ comments on it. Which still isn't masses by mega-fandom standards, but it's pretty wonderful and amazing as far as I'm concerned! (It's always who you know, isn't it? Heh.)

LOL, but who are Blake's 7, there's never seven of them! It would be out of keeping with B7 to stick at the correct number. ;-p
