I decided my writing gears needed a bit of a kick start and hunted out the tried and tested poetry meme. The quotes were especially random this time, but it still worked:

1: Pick five fandoms. List them in alphabetical order.

Aw, thank you! And I dunno, it works for me. I go all to pieces if people ask me to write one sentence or three sentence fic, though. Apparently I am fine with counting words, but can't cope with counting sentences!

I avoid these problems by forgetting meme instructions when I step away from the computer;p I may use the meme for myself as an exercise to get my brain going for Yuletide.

Incidentally, has anyone ever done this meme and not got a poem by Robert Service? There are a number of poets who crop up pretty regularly when you hit the random button, but Service seems to be the most ubiquitous.

And, yes, I have! I can't tell with some of them because I keep forgetting to jot down the poems and poets, but from what I recall, Robert Service crops up a lot, but the one I can't escape is Emily Dickinson.

And though I don't know the fandoms you chose, I enjoyed reading your half drabbles :D

Aw, thank you very much! <3 And, yes, DW aside, my fandoms do tend to be pretty obscure! (I should say that Sapphire, Steel and Silver are weird non-human beings who may even be sort of anthropomorphisations of their names, so Steel wasn't harmed in the making of that demi-drabble!)
