Hurt/Comfort Bingo Card

Jun 18, 2015 20:17

Just a slight repost, as I realised it's not very practical for means of recording progress etc. to have stuck the card in an flocked post with a bunch of other things. Feel free to ignore me or tell me what to write for each prompts (in which case I may ignore you, or not, depending, heh).

Oooh, good card! I have signed up too ... let's see if I actually manage a bingo last year! (I managed one fic last year - and funnily enough, the same prompt is on my card this year!) I believe in myself!

Yay! Yes, you can do it! Are you going to post your card? (I like seeing other peoples; I'm just nosy. ;-D)

Looking forward to your fics.

I'll always take prompts! I'm just not promising that my brain won't immediately go and do the opposite, or just carry on with the original fic thingies. :-)

You know if you bundled them together it would make serious cracjfic - or even if you did a line.

I think you can do that, but you have to achieve a bingo (at least 5 individual fics for a sequence of squares) first! And yes it would! :-)

I should combine it with the random generator and see what happens! ;-)

Thanks. ♥

Yikes. I think there needs to be a hurt/comfort story where some poor fool is deeply traumatised by looking at that card. What a pattern! It looks like one of those floral tie/shirt combos that pop up in late sixties TV. It would suit "nausea" very well, I feel...!

On a more serious note, best of luck with this, and I hope you have a good time. H/c isn't my thing, but I know that it's hugely popular.

What's the "wild card" one? Does that mean you can do one of your own devising?

I know - I was looking forward to their usual pretty backgrounds, but I'm not sure about this one!

Well, I hope just to write some fic that I will enjoy & maybe even other people will enjoy reading, too. People will probably have a bad time at some point in it, but that seems pretty normal to me. Other people may or may not help/try to help them. :-)

The wild card means I can choose any prompt off the list for it, but I can't just make anything up.

I should give your stuff a go when you get around to it. At least I know that you care about your characters! I must admit, the main reason I've taken against h/c is because of "The A-Team". The fanfic for that is now roughly nine-tenths h/c, and it's all Face being desperately sick with a fever, and being cuddled better by the others. How they think that man ever managed to be a crack commando when they have him at death's door with massive medical complications every time he stubs his toe, I have no idea.

And it's "The A-Team". It's supposed to be about exploding. *glares*

It does seem to be one of those things that turns up more, and more badly done, in some fandoms than others! I'll admit I have a soft spot for it when it's well done, because I've spent half my life being ill & it's a nice thought that somebody'll at least help out a bit.

I do hope very much that I always keep things in character, though, whatever I write, even when pushing the envelope crack-wise! (I mean, maybe Jo Grant, Assassin is stretching it, but still... ;-D)

Well, at least you have the explosions on screen and the h/c in fic where it's easy to ignore!!
