We've been packing up the office today for our move tomorrow and in amongst the endless rubbish for the recycling pile and official bits and bobs, I found a scrap of a story I wrote for a Yuletide request. I looked up the request, and my effort would need serious work to match, but it amused me. So I typed it up, not having time for much else

Heh. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I was obviously planning to do something with it for Yuletide, but the moment has passed I feel. It made me grin, too, when I found it out of the blue.

And then I went downstairs yesterday and New Tricks had started again, and Gerry and Sandra were posing as husband and wife; he was asking for trouble and she was looking daggers. :lol:

Alun Armstrong is really just so brilliant in it, though.

I don't know - I picked it up as a Yuletide prompt last year, but if inspiration strikes, who knows? It is a fun show, I agree!
