As the author of said 30K word Sapphire and Steel story, I'd love you to read it! It was a really fun fandom to play in, and Silver turned out to be one of my favorite characters to write for.

Oh, don't worry, I am! I just have concentration issues, but I shall print it off today or tomorrow, as I manage better offline - I'm looking forward to it! There really aren't many long fics in that fandom - and here's one with original Elements and Silver as well as Sapphire and Steel? :-D

I was pretty delighted to write for that fandom. It was pretty much cheating, since it's still Doctor Who, but I didn't care because it was much less stressful that way!

Aw, not cheating at all if it's eligible! As long as you enjoyed writing it and your recipient liked getting it, what else matters? :-)
