This has been doing the rounds again, and it was such fun last year to read everybody's posts, so i'm really looking forward to that again! I have decided to attempt to do it myself and hopefully not drop out this time. However, I definitely wouldn't be posting every day in December (or any month), so just give me a topic and I'll post on it any

I'm glad the Edgar Wallace films turned out to be enjoyable and with bow tie:)

Is that the topic? Because I'm afraid I just don't know. I have a wishlist, but it's sort of more like keeping note of things, and then I get something if it goes really cheap when I have money to spend on such things. Would you like to give me a different one or shall I try to answer that one in slightly more detail? :-D
They were enjoyable, yes. I shall have to actually watch the other 5 on the set at some point!

Btw, I finally got around to watching that film you told me about ages ago with pauline Delany in. I fast-forwarded most of the bits she wasn't in, and while it wasn't anything special, it was still nice to see her. (I was amused that the small child had more sense than everyone else and stepped in to ensure her no good father got arrested. That child will go far! *nods*)

I have just watched both those Alfred Burke film shorts and he was a murdering rotter in both of them,
But come on, they can't typecast the poor lad as a bumbling sweetheart all the time!
where he was on the bed with the gun and the bow tie and the dodgy wallpaper.
And a seductive expression? And the bow-tie, ahem, strategically placed?

What sort of films do you think I go watching? The bow tie was on his neck and he was casually murdering someone. ;-p
And thanks for the topic!

The question is did he play a better baddy than a good guy?

Well, they were one-hour thriller films, so while he was perfectly good, it wasn't exactly much to compare with his performances in other things I've seen, especially Public Eye, which he got BAFTA-nominated for. So far, by default, he makes a better good guy - but I've heard tell that his Long John Silver was something to behold, but the BBC won't release it on DVD, annoyingly.
