Ooh yes! \o/ I don't know how I missed this post but I did, especially it's all my fault I destroyed your brain with fake TV.
I can imagine lots of Woodward hitting the desk with his fists(!) and doing what he believes is for the good of the country, while not seeing he's really becoming a dangerous, self-righteous dictator. The public don't see it though, thinking he must be a man of integrity. Don't get him drunk though - scary!
I can see George Sewell as a '5 chief with access to less "official" contacts.
And yay! Ronald Pickup (minus picnics).
Poor Pat. I don't think Martin Jarvis is going to have a easy time either:/
I heard 'Divide and Rule' was an extra for the 'Callan' box set, due for release in 2020 unrestored, with a fly crawling over the film stock in part two (if at all - it was scheduled originally for release in 2010-ish!).
No, Divide & Rule is definitely getting its own release! Heroes of the Revolution didn't do too badly, so it will turn up mostly restored. ;-p

Yes, he definitely doesn't see him himself as evil, nor is he really to start with.
Few people are going to have an easy time in this - it's 70s TV!!
