I made various icons for NaArMaMo, but halfway through the month, I started on an utterly pointless large set for Enemy at the Door. (NaArMaMo is just for having fun and experimenting, so I did.)
Jeffrey from "Hi De Hi" as a Nazi! That was a surprise. And more of baby Tony Head. :) And faux Doctor One, and Frank Marker undercover. Very nice!
I like Simon Cadell's expression in the kissing one. It speaks volumes! Very effective as an icon. There's some very good framing here all round, and I like the quotes too, even as a non-viewer of the series. Nice work.
Yes, and Simon Cadell was the only one of the German regulars to be an actual Nazi and mostly not very nice, too. Major Richter is just himself, though - he can't be Frank. he's not the same at all! (He was my first Alfred Burke character and I sometimes even forget what he and Frank have in common. My brain would do 'splodey things to think of them as each other.)
And thank you. There's baby ASH. His Mum was in the regular cast. Coincidentally or otherwise, several of his first roles seem to have been him tagging along with his Mum, which is kind of amusing.
Thank you! The ghostly ones were a bit of NaArMaMo experimentation, but when they worked they were really effective, so I think I'll have to try them again for something else as well.
