1. I decided to do naarmamo again this year. We'll see how it goes, but it's very laid back (indeed, it's practically horizontal in the nicest possible way) and I can always stop, or go down to every other day if I find it a bit much still. Naarmamo, is National Art Making Month, but it's just fun - you make and share one thing that counts as art each

Oh, the Royal Family is definitely dead, or in exile or something. I don't know exactly what happened (it was decades before my story began and at the moment I have a 1940s-1958 block on my time line that says "WWII/Cold War/Bad Stuff happens") but yeah. We had a dictator instead so it wasn't an improvement, but now we've got Julian Glover, so I suppose that might be?

Aw, thanks. I probably will. Because it's just odd little pieces - fanfic for my non-existent show! - I'm not sure what order to post them in, but I think I'm at the point where I've got two that might do as a starter, so sometime soon. I will also post them or link them back here eventually if I do. I suspect the people on runaway_tales aren't feeling the lack of fic for gloomy 1970s type political AUs. :-D

I think I'd rather have the royal family in the background of a democratic state than live under a plebian but totalitarian dictator who gets paranoid and has people killed regularly. But, yes, they are definitely deaded in my reality. ;-)

Writing for HotR sounds like a splendid idea. It doesn't really matter if you don't post, but it was such a good concept, and it would be a shame to abandon it.

Thank you! I think I panic because I can't write Big Plotty Stuff without doing my brain in as things are, and I used to, and so I get all weird and despise my frivolous short fanficcy bits & pieces and especially so if they are mere fanficcy bits for original stuff. I expect I shall post it somewhere, and hopefully actually to runaway_tales.
