Whatever I'll end up thinking of Survivors, the first few eps struck me as being fun to mine for icons & I was in the right sort of mood, so... here are some icons from episodes 1 & 2 (The Fourth Horseman & Genesis, 1975):

I don't watch this show at all, but I wanted to tell you the first icon in the second set is SO PRETTY. :)

Aw, thank you! It was a cap that just begged to be iconed, and who am I to refuse? ;-)

Peter Bowles! And that bloke with the remarkable sideburns who was in everything in the seventies. I'm glad that he and his sideburns survived. And Inspector Wexford, obviously.

You've got a nice sense of isolation in several of these.

Heh, yes. I knew some things about Survivors, but I hadn't realised that prior to the apocalypse, Abby was married to Peter Bowles. :-)

The guy with the sideburns survived, but possibly not for long, as he'd gone missing later on...

You've got a nice sense of isolation in several of these.

Thank you. That was definitely what I was aiming for.

Wonderful and suitably gloomy looking.

And I second Peter Bowles!!!

Thank you! :-)

Peter Bowles, however, did not survive.

I couldn't imagine Peter Bowles scratching around on post-apocalyptic Earth so I suppose he'd have to go! I imagine he was a representation of civilisation lost or summat.

Indeed! I was just watching the last ep of S13 and Abby as good as said as much. She'll never have the life she had with Peter Bowles again.
