Love the Avengers icons! I discovered Emma Peel on VHS when I was 12, and I went into full-on fangirl mode from the very first ep. Fantastic.

Thank you! I've never really had a proper chance to watch it, but one of my flist kindly sent me a season. I do like what little I've seen of Emma Peel already, and Diana Rigg is certainly painless to icon!

Well, I was actually very slow to watch old TV that wasn't Doctor Who or comedy that had been around/repeated when I was young. Now that I've done B7 and S&S and loved them, The Avengers is my next big cultural gap, but the DVD sets are just too expensive at the moment. However, I have this one series now, thanks to a kind flister. (I think it's S5 or 6, I'm not sure.)
