*emits the sort of high-pitched squee only bats can hear*

Eeee!

THANK YOU!!

I especially loved:

“If we could tell Russian agents by their tendency to buy copies of Crime and Punishment or War and Peace, we’d have had a lot less trouble all these years.”

“He wanted it in the original language.”

“It’s still nothing to write to the Home Secretary about.”

Harry headed over to her. “It’s all right, Ruth, I wrote that section in invisible ink. He’ll never think to look.”

Ruth looked at him.

“And, no,” said Harry, “of course I didn’t post it. It pays to keep in practice, that’s all.”

(It made me laugh aloud, which I totally needed!)

*is relieved not to be a bat*

:-D So glad you liked it! Nice to make you smile instead of reach for your tissues for a change, heh.

Yes, I appreciated being made to laugh instead of cry.

They're so sweet and funny. I can just see Ruth making a success of a second hand bookshop and Harry being suspicious of all the customers.

You finally did Harry and Ruth in the bookshop! This was already my personal canon from back whenever you first mentioned it, and now it is brought to life so perfectly, and I haven't read fic for so long I've forgotten what to do in situations like this
*handwaves*

 So glad you liked it - and I think three flaily comments is always more than acceptable in these situations. ♥

Best part - Harry writing to the HomeSec in invisible ink about suspicious book-buying Russians, and *sigh* it's ok Ruth I didn't post it - BUT HE STILL WROTE IT.
