So, what do you do when you're waiting for the second half of Poldark S1 to arrive and suddenly realising you're not sure what else you have to watch? Yes. Of course. You make a Ross/Demelza fanvid. Or I do, anyway ( Read more... )

:-D

No, I wanted to get some better screencaps first. I did, though, earlier in this week when I couldn't do much else. So I think that is what I should do right now!

'Concrete and Clay' sounds as if Steel had recruited a couple of humans who made Brass look like a genius by comparison. Or he was in a particularly bad mood when they asked him for aliases :-)

::giggles at john_elliott's comment::

I like your fanvid a lot and really enjoyed it. Maybe concrete doesn't fit so well, but the sentiment of the song is perfect for them. Despite everything that happened, they stuck together.

Thanks for sharing.

Aw, thanks. And I'm glad that came across, because that's what I thought. It fits the spirit rather than the letter - and a mid-70s song for a mid70s couple. :-)

I've just been watching your fanvid again. It really is good; very, very enjoyable with a totally catchy tune.

And I'm now fighting the urge to get the Poldark DVDs. ::shakes fist in lost_spook's direction:: This is your fault!

Aw, thanks! :-) And... um... I'm sorry? :lol:

Well, if you do, search around Amazon a bit because the Playback version which I got is actually edited down quite a bit and missing probably at least 30 mins of the actual series. But I think there is a Dutch release and a newer UK one by Acorn that are complete or something?
