Things I made (and hid)

Jul 09, 2012 17:56

Here's another long overdue post: some things I have made but never posted here. (I'm like the opposite of one of those people who will only post to their own LJ. I scatter things about the place and get too tired to put them here as well. Or they're so obscure that few people would be interested. So, you know, you shouldn't get too excited at ( Read more... )

Discovered I hadn't subscribed to your AO3 account - so I've put that right!

I read three of the four fics (the JA one was the one I didn't read, if you're wondering).

Aw, thanks! (And don't worry, I don't expect many, if any, people to read that one.)

It's probably just as well - I've been putting all my Teaspoon fics on there. I haven't finished yet, but I have now added my drabbles. Otherwise I'd have clogged your inbox!! :-)

Yes I saw you had vast numbers of fics up there already.

I confess, I only upload my non-DW fics there. My DW ones are on my LJ and at Teaspoon, so I figure that's sufficient archiving...

I wasn't going to, to begin with, but it was handy when I signed up for Remix Madness these last two years. And as I get more passing reviews there than Teaspoon these days, it seemed sensible to start adding everything. Gave me something simple to do as well, when I was bored.

And I know! The number of my fics is truly scary!! And there's still a few things not over there yet. 0_o

I've not read the fics yet, but that vid is really lovely - I'm glad you posted it. You've got an excellent sense of movement going on: very balanced, not dizzying at all, but also not at all clumsy / choppy or boring. :D I like it.

Aw, thank you. I have been so cross at the last three fanvids I've made (I think it must be mostly something to do with how I'm feeling at the moment, really), but now I've finished with this one, I'm thinking I do quite like it after all. I'm glad you did. :-)

I think it's just, it was much, much better in my head. Reality can be so disappointing.

Dancing! That was lovely. And I completely forgot about that Life on Mars bit <3

Also... I don't think I've told you this before, but you do these fanvids very well - I mean the editing bit! The cuts look really natural, which isn't something you see often in fanvids. Or maybe all I've found is crappy fanvids, I dunno! But yours are decidedly not Crappy Fanvids :D

Aw, thank you. I always think of that bit from Life on Mars - it and the Press Gang clip were what made me know I wanted to extend it beyond period drama. (That and Mulder and Scully not dancing, bless them. I love that bit where everyone in the room is dancing and kissing... and they're so sure that their friendship is way better. ♥)

:-) That is good to hear. I rate myself as a non-crappy vidder also, so I'm glad I'm not just being arrogant. But I think you are looking in the wrong places. I keep finding ones that leave me with my mouth hanging open, wondering how they did it! :-)

Anyway, I mean to try and not be grumpy at my next one, whatever it should be. Whenever it should be.

I mean, like this, which you probably have seen: http://fan-eunice.livejournal.com/309947.html

And many, many others. :-)
