Yes, the possibility for combined attempts to kill Hitler is ... scarily plausible, given the nature of Allo Allo.

*Determinedly does not look at the spoilery quote*

Part of me would love to get a subscription to DWM, but I would hate the spoilers, so I would probably have to lock it away so as to not look at it until the upcoming episodes had aired, which would drive me crazy. So your plan to share old issues is perfect for me! Feel free to start back in the 1980s if you like. *g*

Given how long the DWM takes to arrive, they wouldn't be very spoilery by the time they reached you...

Is that still true about DWM? I'm in the USA, and subscribed to DWM while the Classic series was still going, until 1996, when I let my subsciption lapse (for a batch of reasons all at once: the stupid TVM, their killing Ace in the "Ground Zero" comic strip, Jon Pertwee dying, and my falling-out with DW fandom at the time), and even with a subscription, it was sometimes outrageously late!

AFAIK from my American FListers who subscribe, it still takes a good month for them to get a copy...

Sadly, these lines did not appear in the episode. john_amend_all August 27 2011, 22:05:19 UTC
Amy: Doctor, what are you doing in the arms of that serving girl?
Doctor: I kiss waitresses now. Kissing waitresses is cool.

Surely you mean:

Amy: Doctor, why are you dressed as a nun?
Doctor: I wear a habit now. Habits are cool.
Amy: Fine, but why the moustache? Very nun-like, I don't think.
Doctor: Well, all the other nuns had one... Anyway, the important question - the really important thing around here - is why are you dressed as an undertaker?
Amy: Isn't that obvious?
Doctor: With that lipstick?

Hee!

And doubtless Rory is forced to disguise himself as a temporary female stenographer of the opposite sex...
