After he had paused to think about that for a moment, he said, "Marrying you is going to be hard work, I can see. Someone will surely want to kill you before long."

Thank you! Heh. Yes, I didn't really want to split it at all, but it seemed overlong for a journal entry.
This is kind of novel-prevention more than anything else...
And, yes, wouldn't want a dull happy ever after, now, would we? (Dread to think what any christenings will be like as well).
