Stuffs from the Latest DWM

Feb 10, 2011 13:04

DWM have started having a YouTube recs column. I'd seen most of them before, but this one was highly amusing. And, er, instructive:

What are you doing here? )

fanvids, doctor who magazine, doctor who, star trek: voyager, janet fielding

I'd seen that DW vid before - it did the rounds of Twitter several months ago...

I suspected if DWM had picked up on it, it wasn't likely to be obscure, but I hadn't seen it & I was grateful for the amusement it gave me! :-)

I am slightly distracted as your icons are going through the doctors exactly in time... *watches*

Wait, who used ''rabbits'' as a swearword. Also, I agree with her that you'd go nuts IRL. About tens times worse than astronauts.

As Cersia said, Tegan. :-D It was, erm, supposed to be an Australian swear word. *cough*

Yeah, it'd be hard to adjust. Back to Earth, back to linear time, no Doctor, no monsters... Eek.

Heh, I love that vid. Now I'm wondering what other ones they recc'd? (just a scientific curiosity of course).

And I lol'd at Tegan's interview. :D

Umm, a CGI trailer for the Web of Fear, Babelcolour's Disinformation Guide, and a couple others that I forget now. :-)

Hee, Janet is always entertaining. This is why I have Peter and Janet commentary addiction. And I know people have hate for RTD, but he is such a huge fan of the show, I'd love to have seen his reaction when he found he had a fan letter from Tegan, of all people... :-D And she is very naughty once they let her get on the subject of Matthew Waterhouse (although she's not nasty, as such... I think he's just a mystery to her!)

I'm glad it was of interest. I've been on the nets so much, I didn'tr eally think about it, but after typing bits up, the hand-eye co-ordination made me go dizzy for the rest of the day!

"Why did you interview him?"

For some reason that amused me mightily... XD

Oh, and me. I cut quite a bit out of that, but it was all very amusing. That was the funniest bit. This is why Five-era commentaries will always win out for entertainment value, because they have Janet on them!

She certainly has a way of putting things... ;D But yes, Janet and Peter Davison certainly give good commentary, the pair of them.
