Time to confess:

My Yuletide story was for navaan who had requested Blake's 7 fic featuring Jenna, Blake and Avon. The Tough Guide to Fantasy Land fic! I don't think I can say amazing enough times to cover it. I'd love to read more about the adventures of Lilla and Jaxon :D

I see this year that, because of AO3, the New Year's Resolution prompts are all the requests, not just those that were filled, so hopefully that person will get lots more, because the surface of the thing has barely been scratched. I don't think anyone even mentioned swords at all. (Although when I do my last lot of recs, I can mention the other Tough Guide fic the recipients proper writer wrote - desert horses are bred from cacti, lol). (Sorry, DWJ speculates that one possible explanation for the behaviour of fantasy horses is that they have been crossbred with plants...)

Sorry. Am waffling, because I was fed up and too ill to do much, but now I am convalescent and able to type. Possibly not with the letters in the right order, but yay.

How could I not like it? it's all different sorts of awesome! Right, so, now one of my New Year's Resolutions is to add to the body of Tough Guide to Fantasy Land fic. Wheee!

And *hugs* for being sick. I'm glad that you're on the mend. Here's a puppy you can cuddle.

More Tough Guide fic suely can't be a bad thing! Ooh, especially not from you - but, of course, not if it interferes with Eleven and the elephants, or any zombie bees hanging around.

Funnily enough, about the first thing I wrote on returning to adwc after about 8 years was a DW/Tough Guide cross for a 'swords' drabble challenge. So you can see where the idea came from... *cough* (Recycling a good thing, right? :lol:)

Yay, now I can read your main Yuletide fic! I kept thinking I should read it, and going to your ao3 page, and realising it was still anonymous... though with the clue about exploding spaceships, I really should have been able to find it anyway!

LOL. Yes, there were at least 6 requests and 6 offers for Blake's 7, so I really hadn't expected to find myself being the only person to write a story for it in the main Yuletide collection.

And, aww.
